Thanks to a company history starting already 1873, Fagersta Stainless is the world´s leading producer of stainless wire rod and wire. With a range from standard to customized chemistries the products fulfill everything from simple to high demanding applications. 
All our production takes place in Fagersta, Sweden, where our office, wire rod mill and wire mill are located. We produce about 60 000 tonnes of wire rod annually, of which appr. 10 000 tons are further refined into wire. Our turnover is appr. 160 MEUR and we have about 250 employees. Our products are sold worldwide for  applications such as fasteners, welding wire and electrodes, springs, high temperature applications, cycle spokes, building and household applications etc.
